My Philosophy
My philosophy is one of Original Medicine: that each of us brings unique gifts needed by the world, and it is through the process of meeting life’s challenges that our gifts emerge more fully. Even though it may not feel like it at times, often our symptoms are messengers calling out to inform us that we need to find new ways of relating to ourselves and the world around us. Through increased awareness, deep listening and courage, we are able to hear our true needs, find pathways to healing and move forward into the next level of health and well-being.
I also believe that each person is the ultimate expert on their own experience and is capable of actively creating the life they wish to live. As a therapist I nurture and guide clients through the process of healing, step-by-step and help them build the skills necessary to move forward. Through experiential and reflective techniques I help people learn how to find the answers from within.
Ways I Can Help
I hold an unwavering belief in the capacity of individuals to heal their past and grow into the people they wish to become if they apply the right tools. I have a multi-modal approach to therapy that incorporates therapeutic and skill-building techniques from a wide range of therapeutic orientations. I pride myself in meeting client’s unique needs and finding the modality that best suits their path towards healing and health.
Some areas of expertise are:
- Therapeutic Mentoring: Guidance for the Emerging-Self.
- Emotional Clearing: Clear harmful patterns and traumatic events.
- Life Transitions: Re-vision your life and the possibilities in your future.
- Eco-Psychology: Connect to the healing power of the elements in nature.
- Spiritual Emergence: Build a grounded relationship with transcendent states.
- Soul-Crafting: Find your path and purpose through deep, intimate inquiry.
